From the courtyard there is an independent stairway  and entrance up to the top floor of the house giving you the flexibility to make it your own accommodation or as a separate apartment for guests.  The area around the back of the house has been fenced but there is a further area of land with almond trees and could easily be incorporated into the main garden if wanted or used for keeping livestock or dogs and so on.

 

It is only just a 2 minute drive to the main Granada Motorway (A92N) and to the historic town of Velez Rubio where you can cater for all your shopping needs. There is even a local Hostal in walking distance to enjoy the odd tapas or two and a tinto verano perhaps without having to take the car. The city of Baza is less than an hour away with its magnificent Embalse de Negratin nearby and warm thermal spas. Granada City and Airport is within 1 and a half hour’s drive away and of course the Sierra Nevada with its beautiful skiing slopes. Alicante Airport will be just over 2 hours away, Murcia (San Javier) just under 2 hours and Almeria Airport just over an hour – an excellent infrastructure.  

Rambling, birdwatching, cycling are all on the menu and there are some amazing mountain drives nearby to drink in the wonderful sights such as the almond blossom stretching for miles during the spring.
